That was the best maths lesson ever!

It was awesome! The performer was engaging and hilarious. The kids loved the show!

From the squeals of delight echoing around the yard by our Year 6 girls, to the excitement of our Year 7s solving puzzles and running around, to the adrenaline rush of our Year 8s, even our Year 9s: they all loved the Amazing Maths Race!

The shows were excellent and the presenter was fantastic. Our boys were really engaged throughout with an excellent mix of history and puzzles.

Fabulous! The students really enjoyed it, and all left very energised.

My students said they loved the Escape Room and it was the best fun they have had in maths! Our teachers said it was great having the students get up and do hands on activities which made the incursion a truly fun experience.

The Maths Escape Room was a hit with our boys and they were absolutely buzzing afterwards. I have had parents give feedback too saying their son was raving about it when they got home. Our host was fantastic. He ran the experience smoothly and professionally and was also so entertaining that he had the boys completely engaged from the moment they walked in the hall. The boys were so well behaved because they were so invested and engaged in the tasks.

There was a lot of running and laughing and then quite a lot of group thinking and processing in The Amazing Maths Race! That's what we wanted to see!

The Year 8s had an excellent time and enjoyed the challenge of The Maths Race. They loved the problem-solving aspect, even students who stated they don't normally enjoy maths felt they had a great experience.

Thank you for presenting the Maths & Sports Show at Mary MacKillop College last week. The girls & staff thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and the interactive activities were a hit! Being an all-girls school, Melanie was able to adapt easily and had a focus on women in sport that the students could really relate to. The presentation was a much needed relief in a challenging year… So thank you!

The only suggestion they had was to do the course at the end of the day next time as they were so relaxed, they found it hard to do any work for the rest of the day!!
